Mental Health Providers Enjoy an Evening of Creativity
On Dec. 7, 2022, the Mental Health Association of Fauquier County welcomed over 30 people to its Paint & Sip for Mental Health Providers. This special event was created to provide counselors, therapists, school counselors, and others that focus on mental wellness daily with an opportunity to relax, visit with each other, and a chance to be creative.
The Event
Creative Crafts by Amy led the group in an engaging painting session, where everyone created an acrylic piece of snow globe art on canvas. Eva Fisher of Eva’s Events catered the food, which consisted of delicious turkey chili, corn bread, salad and delightful desserts. All was so delightful!
There was a lot of laughter, a festive feel and some incredible talent! The artistic work was not only fun to create, but everyone’s artwork turned out so well. The Mental Health Association offers other special events, as well as free monthly Lunch & Learns, which are held virtually on the second Thursday of each month. Visit our Upcoming Events page to see what is on tap for this month.
