Community Planning
The Mental Health Association of Fauquier County has been a leader in community planning to improve mental wellness in Fauquier and Rappahannock counties, hosting bi-annual Community Dialogues to engage a broad spectrum of local residents and organizations in identifying gaps in services and developing strategies to fill those gaps.
The Association also facilitates the Mental Health Collaborative, comprised of the leaders of community organizations working to improve mental health and substance use services. The Collaborative has worked with the PATH Foundation to develop a three-year strategic plan for behavioral health that lays out community-wide goals for:
- Data Collection & Planning
- Education and Prevention Programs
- Access to Care
