Fauquier drug overdose deaths rose to 20 last year

Despite a broad community campaign to battle the epidemic, drug overdose deaths in Fauquier spiked again last year — to 20, according to local law enforcement agencies. After a record 22 overdose fatalities in 2016, the county death toll dropped to nine in 2017.
