Amber Montgomery
Amber has worked for the Prince William County School (PWCS) Division for almost 20 years. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master of Science in Psychology, with a certification in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. She earned the highest GPA in her undergraduate degree program.
Amber is currently the Chair for the Superintendents Administrative Support Advisory Council for PWCS and is also a facilitator in Core Strengths, which teaches departments, businesses, and organizations relationship intelligence. She is a member of the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology, the Society for Human Resource Management and the National Honor Society for Leadership and Success.
Amber has previously held positions on the Board of Directors for the Main Street Child Development Center, a non-profit preschool in Fairfax, VA. She lives in Rappahannock County with her husband, a retired Prince William County police officer and have four grown (almost – the youngest is 16) children.
She values the importance of mental health in every facet of the work she does on a daily basis and especially sees the need for children to have access to mental health programs during the crucial developmental years.
